Alone!
I stand in the middle of nowhere
---Alone---
Looking for an elusiveness
That may never be found.
In vain?
Crying out in this wilderness
of anguish.
Calling to the unknown
--expecting no return.
Flagellating this soul
with my fears
By opening my
innermost self
to the winds of despair
and longing.
Groping along....
Hoping, without hope
for a lowly reprieve
of justice
--or--
a judgment
of condemnation.
Which will it be??
