    I didn’t know that but I’ll tell ya cj. that is up there and big as all get out. It even at the moment has two thin wisps of cloud streakin’ just above and below it right now. Reflectin’ its glow and haze all about in an otherwise starless sky. Yes it is indeed a howler if ever there be one.

    Yikes! Just found out we have bears in Indiana again – I wonder if I’ll hear wolves next.

      I recently saw a coy-wolf near the border of Ohio and Indiana. Beautiful creature.

        Really? Which did it resemble more? I wonder if they all look alike or if there are different combinations of the two creatures.

          It was smaller than a wolf, but larger than a coyote. It actually looked like a small wolf, it was more furry than a coyote, grey in color but also had that burnt orange/brown color. Very handsome and healthy looking creature. Coyotes I’ve seen in the past have always looked thin and a little scraggly.

            Yes, I agree that most coyotes look kind of scraggly and round-shouldered. This new breed should be interesting to watch.
